Aim Tunes Beta was by far one of the WORST programs I have ever used, within minutes of installing it and trying out the service I uninstalled it. What Aim Tunes allows you to do, is share your music collection with your aim buddies, not for download, but to listen to their tracks. I thought this might be a good service as it would allow me to share, and listen to my friends music, and learn what they like to listen to. The first downside of this program is that it does not allow you to choose, or delete files from being shared. You must choose a folder to share, which I was O.K., but, by default it shares your My Music folder, which I did NOT want shared. Some songs/recordings, are things I do not want to share yet they are shared anyways. In such a sense you are giving aim tunes the ability to go in to your hard drive and share your media files, with out your consent. I do not encourage the use of this dumb program. It is put in to account that this is beta though. And it does have good functionality when you hear a good song you like, you can choose to buy it.
